About me

I have a love of all things dark and whimsical. It takes light and darkness to make everything beautiful.

How my love of writing started was with books. When I was young, the worlds in books changed me. They often pulled me back from things that made me feel totally alone.

Vampires, princesses, detectives, even mad scientists from the pulp era. All of these had an impact and one day I just started writing my own. I thought I love all these things so much. Why not mix and match, as long as it makes sense. So here I am now just starting out hoping to share whole worlds, with those who love to explore.

About the Author: Chronicles of the Flesh, the Void, and the Deep. My work has been compared to. Alice in Wonderland, The greatest showman and Miss Peregrines home for peculiar children. In a sense of feel, especially for my circus. One reader called it a cozy gothic experience of an episodic nature.

I am a speculative fiction writer exploring the blurred lines between the human and the inhuman. My stories span genres, from biopunk sci-fi to dark fantasy and urban horror/dark whimsical, but they all share a fascination with transformation, survival, and the strange beauty found in the darkest corners of existence.

On this Substack, you will find serialized fiction that isn’t afraid to get visceral. My work invites you into worlds where ships are made of flesh, mermaids are apex predators, and the “monsters” are the most loyal family you’ll ever find.

Current Story Arcs

🎪The Circus of the Surreal & Sublime (Urban Fantasy / Horror/Dark) Enter the hidden world of Mortimore’s Circus, a sanctuary for the strange. The story follows Doc, a centuries-old, cynical physician who has found her home living among werewolves, Minotaur, and dragons. While she finds comfort in her monstrous community, she ventures into the human world to hunt the “filth”, criminals she deems unworthy of life, harvesting what she needs to perfect her medical craft.

🧜Amara and the Tideborn (Dark Nautical Fantasy)

Amara, a shipwrecked merchant captain, fights for survival on an island ruled by the Tideborn, mermaids who are as deadly as they are beautiful. This is a story of predator and prey, unraveling the terrifying and magnetic bond between Amara and Sea Star, a mermaid struggling against her hunger to save the human she loves.

🛸The Decay of the Dina Term (Biopunk Sci-Fi) In the cold silence of a cosmic graveyard, Noel, a Nindarian scrapper, hunts for salvage inside the Dina Term, a derelict warship built of metal and organic biomass. Accompanied by

her AI, Jeram, Noel discovers that the ship is not as dead as it seems, leading to a terrifying encounter with a vessel that desires a new crew, whether they are willing or not…

Noel in her space horror, Tideborn queen Abyssa and Doc dancing with a Roselite the vampire in her poisoned dress.

I write speculative fiction that blurs human and inhuman. Biopunk, dark fantasy, and urban horror focused on transformation, survival, and the beauty in darkness—where bio space ships roam, mermaids hunt, and monsters make the best family.
